Melt In Your Mouth Chicken

On my way to 365 recipes in 365 days.  Here is recipe 19.

I have seen this recipe floating around Pinterest for a while now.  I added breadcrumbs on top to give it a little crunch.  It was perfect and the flavor was amazing.  This is a very savory chicken and so flavorful with very few ingredients.

Melt In Your Mouth Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup Greek yogurt

1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese

1 tsp garlic powder

1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

2 Tbsp plain bread crumbs

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a baking dish.

2. Place chicken in baking dish.

3. In a small bowl, mix yogurt, cheese, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper.  Smear over chicken.  Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp bread crumbs.

4. Bake for 45-60 minutes until juices in chicken run clear.

*Take note that the oven temp and cook time is the same for this dish and the Cinnamon Glazed Sweet Potatoes.  Put them in the oven together and you have a no fuss dinner.

*If you are out of seasoning salt, see my recipe for DIY Seasoning Salt (No MSG)

  1. I made this recipe for my family a couple of weeks ago and then featured it on my blog as well. It was very good. I like your idea of adding breadcrumbs. I will have to try this the next time. Btw, I really enjoy your blog!

  2. This chicken recipe looks great. I think I have seen it on Pintrest too haha! Keep going towards your goal of 365! :)
Just posted a yummy veggie meal but now that I read your blog it would go awesome with this.Going to make them together next time. If the ovens already on, why not use it for everything :) I was trying out some new foods and was pretty anxious but it turned out great.
