On my way to 365 recipes in 365 days. Here is recipe 19.
I have seen this recipe floating around Pinterest for a while now. I added breadcrumbs on top to give it a little crunch. It was perfect and the flavor was amazing. This is a very savory chicken and so flavorful with very few ingredients.
Melt In Your Mouth Chicken
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp seasoning salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
2 Tbsp plain bread crumbs
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease a baking dish.
2. Place chicken in baking dish.
3. In a small bowl, mix yogurt, cheese, garlic powder, seasoning salt, and black pepper. Smear over chicken. Sprinkle with 2 Tbsp bread crumbs.
4. Bake for 45-60 minutes until juices in chicken run clear.
*Take note that the oven temp and cook time is the same for this dish and the Cinnamon Glazed Sweet Potatoes. Put them in the oven together and you have a no fuss dinner.
*If you are out of seasoning salt, see my recipe for DIY Seasoning Salt (No MSG)

I made this recipe for my family a couple of weeks ago and then featured it on my blog as well. It was very good. I like your idea of adding breadcrumbs. I will have to try this the next time. Btw, I really enjoy your blog!

This chicken recipe looks great. I think I have seen it on Pintrest too haha! Keep going towards your goal of 365! :)
ReplyDeleteJust posted a yummy veggie meal but now that I read your blog it would go awesome with this.Going to make them together next time. If the ovens already on, why not use it for everything :) I was trying out some new foods and was pretty anxious but it turned out great.
