We have had a very busy 2 years with Nora. She has had a number of medical issues to contend with and she has always come out on the other side smiling. She is beautiful.
She has a funny little way about her and she makes THE BEST facial expressions.
She looks so much like Clint and is a little feisty like me. We love her strong will, but we have to point it in the right direction.
There is so much to celebrate on her second birthday! A healed hemangioma, resolved bone marrow failure, a diagnosis to get us going in therapy, and growth!!! She has really grown!
She fits right in with Verity and I......she is a talker. And, she has a lot to say. My favorite is when she doesn't want to do something (be all done, get clean diaper, change activities) she will say "no thank you" over and over. Her politeness nearly wins me over......

Happy Birthday indeed! I'm so sorry to hear about all that you've been through. I only recently found your blog and I'm not a daily blog reader or poster due to time limits. However, I can somewhat relate to what you've been through. There is nothing worse than having a sick child. My grown son has had two bone marrow transplants in the last 2 1/2 years. He's had to make all the decisions regarding his health care himself. He signs all the permission slips. I can only imagine what it must be like for you having to make all those decisions for your child. What an awesome responsibility. And she has no idea why all these things are being done to her. I just think that makes it all so much harder for everyone. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful. Happy birthday to her and happy Mother's Day to you.
